Expo 2020 Dubai Pavilion at Expo 2015 Milan

I led a pitch to deliver the first piece of experiential work to communicate Expo 2020 Dubai to the world since the bid was won.

Our space in the Foster-designed pavilion had to communicate to three distinct audiences: high-level government delegations, other countries’ pavilion commissioners, and the (mostly Italian) attendees of the Milan Expo.
​
Our solution employed a whole range of experiential techniques, including a unique projection format, with kinetic tracked elements, a gauze reveal and a multi-lingual commissioned soundtrack, touching on Dubai’s past, present and future, as well as an augmented reality app and an interactive questionaire to gather thoughts and opionions from visitors.
